My science fiction short story “Bloom” is out now in the December issue of Asimov’s Science Fiction Magazine.

My story “The Telling”, published by Beneath Ceaseless Skies #109 last November, has been nominated for the World Fantasy Award.  I am flabbergasted. Editor Scott H. My story “Lost Wax” is out in the August issue of Asimov’s Science Fiction, available now in bookstores, from the Asimov’s site, and through most e-book sources, including iTunes and Amazon.  Yeast-tech!  Augur Bird!  A visit to Ma’am Roenard’s Cuttlefish Cabaret!  Here’s a sample:

I’ve sold my story “Spinning the Thread” to Kaleidotrope, for publication sometime in 2014.  It’s sort of a historical fantasy gangster horror story. Sort of.  And, along with “Lost Wax” upcoming in the Asimov’s August issue, one of a set of transformational love stories.  Sort of.

My story “The Telling” is out now at Beneath Ceaseless Skies:  read it for free on their website.  It got a “Recommended” from Locus Magazine, and good reviews here and here.

It’s with no small delight that I can announce that my short story The Telling has sold to the excellent Fantasy fiction website Beneath Ceaseless Skies.  It should be appearing sometime in the second half of 2012; more info coming as I get it.
