My first horror story Smartmob is out at Schlock Magazine, along with a story by the fantastic Nathan Ballingrud and some more great looking stuff. Schlock previously did an interview with me, my first interview, in fact! They’ve just overhauled their web design, and it’s a beautiful site, full of great stories!

I’ve sold my story “Spinning the Thread” to Kaleidotrope, for publication sometime in 2014. It’s sort of a historical fantasy gangster horror story. Sort of. And, along with “Lost Wax” upcoming in the Asimov’s August issue, one of a set of transformational love stories. Sort of.

My fifth story, second short-enough-to-be-official short story, and first attempt at horror has passed the Shoe Review, and I’ve gotten through what I can remember of her notes, which I somehow lost, but anyway, it’s looking ready to go its own way.
